Next event – details to follow
Thank you to you all who took part in the 2016 Halloweekend’s event…there were some great survival stories but also some gruesome Zombie bites. Zombie Hill certainly caught some of you out!
This Halloween a terrible experiment has gone awry and a group of zombies has over-run Market Harborough. Despite the best efforts of the authorities the police and army have been defeated and only a small group of runners have survived this zombie apocalypse.
To help save the human race from a Zombie take over the runners need to be brave and complete a dangerous 4 mile run. Sounds easy? In various infected zones on the course, hungry zombies are waiting – eager to chase the runners down and remove the ‘life tags’. Lose both tags and the runner will join the ranks of the undead. Would you survive Market Harborough’s first zombie apocalypse?
Runners must complete two laps of a 2 mile course starting at Robert Smyth School on Burnmill Road and return there to base camp. This will include 2 killer ascents of Zombie Hill. During both laps of the course, you will be pursued by zombies who have over run the town but have been confined to a number of separate zones. Your aim is to out run them and stop them from removing your two life tags.
Entries are limited to the first 350 entrants. Every runner will receive a unique T shirt and goodies.
Runners of all standards are welcome, but you should be prepared to run 4 miles in total. You put in the training – we’ll supply the marauding zombies.
Where and how much
- Arrive at Robert Smyth School, Burnmill Road, Market Harborough Leicestershire.
- Entries cost £20.
- Runners must be aged over 14.
If you don’t fancy running but would still like to be involved then get in touch. The more zombies, the merrier! The run is open to anyone that is at least 14 years old. If you are not old enough yet, then you can still volunteer to be a zombie as long as you are accompanied by an adult zombie.
