NEIL LOAKE
Pacing 1hr 30min
I’m a local marathon runner (London and Berlin this year) who has paced multiple events over various times. Being able to offer runners support in achieving their goals is what makes pacing so rewarding to me. I always do my best to give the right info throughout the race, whilst running a consistent and accurate pace. I’m there to give people the headspace to cash in on the hard work they’ve put in and most importantly enjoy themselves!
ROBIN STURMAN-COOMBS
Pacing 1hr 35min
Running is a big part of my life, where I channel my love for pacing into pushing limits and finding rhythm in every mile. Known as “Beardy Rob,” I bring both grit and personality to the road, embracing the journey as much as the finish line.
JAMES DUNCOMBE
Pacing 1hr 40min
I am an experienced runner and pacer, who completed 24 half marathons in 2025, alongside fell races, trail runs and parkruns. I run for my own mental wellbeing and love to pace to help others achieve their target times and smash their PBs. My current PB is 1.23 set in Lisbon.
GAVIN REEVES
Pacing 1hr 45min
I’ve been running since my school days, competing in county championships, before taking a break and rediscovering the sport around 15 years ago. Relearning my love for running — especially the mental positives and pure enjoyment it brings — led me into pacing about 10 years ago, and I’ve made it my mission to give back what running has given me. There’s no better feeling than helping other runners achieve their goals and personal bests.
LOUISE ANDREWS
Pacing 1hr 50min
Running is my go to. It has helped me mentally get through some tough times. I have represented England for my age group and I also hold the Guinness World Record for the fastest three legged marathon as mixed pair. My half marathon PB is 1:30, I was a bit younger mind.
PAUL CARPENTER
Pacing 1hr 55min
I found running again back in 2015 when I got a place in the London Marathon. I’ve not really stopped running since, with my personal best standing at 1:38:16. Every Saturday I can be found at Northampton parkrun pacing 30 minutes. Whilst my best effort over the 5k is 20:49 I love to pace 30 minutes as seeing peoples progression over time is amazing. Everyone trains so hard to chase their dream time. I love to give them the belief that they can achieve it!
PAUL CHENNELL
Pacing 2hr
Hello, I am Paul and will be a 2 hour pacer at this year’s Market Harborough Half Marathon. I founded the Thrapston Jog and Run group which meet twice a week for group social runs. We regularly take part in parkruns and other longer events. My half marathon PB is 1.42 and I have paced the Amazing Northampton Run 4 times amongst other events. I look forward to seeing you and helping you achieve your goal of a sub 2 hour time.
JAN SZANDALA
Pacing 2hr 5min
I am Jan and I will be Your pacer for 2:05. Be prepared to have an awesome time with me along the course. Miles with smiles! I am passionate about endurance and love reading books which helps me to expand my knowledge and also helps me to reach my own goals. I train to be ready for any challenge! Current PBs; 5K- 19:55, HM – 1:38:16, FM- 3:28:43. Longest distance completed 100K. I love pacing and helping people to achieve their goals. I am also a regular pacer at my local Northampton parkrun. Let’s smash together the first Market Harborough Half Marathon!

Hi everyone! If you’re aiming for a 2:10 finish at the 2026 Snap Fitness Market Harborough Half Marathon, I’ll be pacing this group and would love to help you get there. I’ve completed several half marathons and two full marathons (at the time of writing), so you’ll be in experienced hands. We’ll aim for steady, even pacing throughout to give you the best chance of hitting your goal time. Looking forward to running with you—let’s make it a great race!
MARK ROSE
Pacing 2hr 15min
I am a member of both the 100 Marathon & 100 Half Marathon Clubs. A very experienced pacer, having paced many, many times in the UK and abroad, at distances from 5K – marathon. I love pacing, it’s such a fulfilling experience. The ability to support and encourage runners and help them to achieve their goals is such a satisfying and rewarding thing to do.
NICKY JONES
Pacing 2hr 20min
Three years ago I started running because I needed to change my life. I weighed 149kg and just hoped running might help me lose some weight. Fast forward to today and I’m now 99kg — a journey I’m really proud of. Along the way I’ve managed a half marathon PB of 1:54, but these days running means more to me than chasing times. I’ve learned to enjoy the miles, the process, and the community that comes with it. That’s one of the reasons I became a pacer. When I first started running, so many people supported and encouraged me, and pacing feels like my way of giving something back to the running community.
WILL LAKI
Pacing 2hr 25min
Running can be challenging, especially during races, and being a pacer gives me the chance to help others stay focused, confident, and on track to reach their goals. I take pride in setting a steady rhythm and creating a supportive atmosphere where runners feel encouraged every step of the way. What I value most is the sense of community it builds. My PB for half is 1:46:26, I have been running for 20 months and have completed 83 parkruns, 6 10ks, 35 half marathons and 3 marathons in that time.
DIETER SULLIVAN
Pacing 2hr 30min
I decided to take up running in 1996 after watching The London Marathon. I joined a local running club in Windsor and managed to win the club’s place in the London Marathon for 1997! I had a brief break from running between 2003 and 2008 but have since completed 26 Marathons (including 12 London Marathons and 3 abroad) and 130 half marathons; 7 of which I have been an official pacer. I decided in 2023 I would like to give something back to the running industry and started doing some volunteering and then pacing. I’m now looking forward to being the 2:30 pacer for the Snap Fitness Market Harborough Half Marathon.
GRAEME ROLFE
Pacing 2hr 35min
I have completed 17 marathons and a number of half marathons. My marathon PB is 3:40 and half marathon 1:30.
LAURA NICHOLS
Pacing 2hr 40min
Since starting my pacing journey in May 2024, I’ve led runners through nine events across both 10km and half marathon distances. I’m usually a solo “5am club” runner but I find that pacing others toward their goals is the most rewarding way to clock up miles. I love hearing the stories of those I run alongside – so expect a friendly chat as we run! I won’t sugarcoat it: I’m a pacer who likes to push. Once I know your goal, my sole purpose is to help you hit it. If that means you need to tell me you hate me at mile 11 to keep going, I can take it, as I promise it’ll be all smiles once we cross that finish line and you achieve your goal! I’m super excited to be pacing the 2hours 40minutes at the Market Harborough Half Marathon. See you at the start; let’s achieve those goals!
