Winwick Hall Trail Races
JULY 2025 (Date TBC)
Race information
Starting and finishing at Winwick Hall, the 5k and 10k races provide the perfect introduction to trail running as well as a challenge for those looking to build their experience of trail running.
There’ll be a mixture of terrain, including grassland, country paths and some hard-packed trails. Both routes involve some rewarding hills and speedy descents!
The 2k race, for children aged 4-12 years old, is a fun run.
The races are run in aid of the Bruce Green Foundation with a proportion of all entry fees going direct to the charity.
Entries
Entries will open soon on Let’s Do This, and are priced at £20 for the 10k, £15 for the 5k, and £8 for the 2k children’s race.
Minimum age for entry on race day is 15 years old for the 10k, 11 years old for the 5k, and 4 years old for the 2k*.
*Adults are welcome to accompany their child in the 2k event.
As the races use footpaths across farmland, running with dogs is not permitted.
Entries, and transfer of entries, will close 7-days before the event.

The Bruce Green Foundation
‘Providing a safe and secure foundation from which young people can flourish in education, at home and in the community by providing inclusive access to cultural and inspirational experiences.’
This event is run in aid of the Bruce Green Foundation, and a proportion of all entry fees go direct to the charity.
Founded in 2018, the foundation works with young people, under 21, in the county of Northamptonshire, individuals who face social inequalities as a result of poor access to education, healthcare and mental health support.
The foundation acts a catalyst for confidence, enabling young people to make changes for the betterment of their lives (academically, socially and emotionally). This is achieved through the provision of long-term interventions, the external delivery of collective entertainment, and by supporting partner organisations who share our mission.
