Road Closures & Traffic Management

To this end, the preliminary Traffic Management Plan is as outlined below. This will be updated as we move towards the event.

The following roads will be closed at the times stated. Diversions will be in place during these times.

07:30-13:00 Gallow Fields Road between Harborough Road and Foxton Road.
08:15-10:30 Theddingworth Road between Laughton Lane and Laughton Road. Access to Residents from South entrance – from Theddingworth – only. 
08:45 – 09:15 Foxton Road between The Green and Gallows Field Road.
08:30 – 10:00 Gallows Field Road/Gumley Road/Foxton Road/Main Street/Debdale Lane between Gallows Field Road and Mowsley Road.
09:15 – 10:30 Mowsley Road/Saddington Road between end of Saddington Village and junction with Dag Lane. Access for residents only from southern entrance – Mowsley village – only.
09:15 – 11:30 The Green junction with Foxton Road. Residents of The Green to enter and exit via junction with A3404.
09:30 – 11:30 Laughton Road between Theddingworth Road and Foxton Road. Access to Residents from west entrance – from Theddingworth – only.

The following road will be closed one way.

09:15 – 12:00 Foxton Road between junction with Laughton Road and Gallows Field Road. Vehicles allowed to travel northbound towards Foxton.

The following temporary speed restrictions, reduced to 40mph, will be in place.

08:00 – 12:00 Theddingworth Road between Laughton Road and 30mph signs within Mowsley Village.
08:00 – 12:00 Laughton Road between Theddingworth Road and Foxton Road.
08:00 – 12:00 Foxton Road between junction with Laughton Road and Gallows Field Road for the length on one way northbound.

Stop-Go operations will be in place at the following locations at the times stated.

There will be ‘No Left Turn’ at the following location.

09:15 – 12:00 Welland Avenue and junction with Foxton Road, vehicles permitted to turn right Northbound but not Southbound. No left turn in place for duration of one-way northbound scheme.

Leaflets outlining the measures above will be delivered to all residents along the route during March.
