A huge thank you to everybody who joined us for our Winwick Hall Trail Races event last month, held in aid of the Bruce Green Foundation.
A proportion of all entry fees go directly to the charity, and we are very proud to announce that this year we helped to raise £805 for the foundation!

The Bruce Green Foundation take children and young adults from challenging home and educational backgrounds and give them a chance to experience collective entertainment, to gain confidence and to reignite smiles.

We welcomed a record turnout of runners across the three distances this year, with runners enjoying the 2k, 5k and 10k courses around the Bruce Green estate and out along the local trails.

There were some brilliant performances by all. But a special well done to everybody who was tackling their first ever race or first trail run! Hopefully it was the first of many trail adventures to come!  Conditions were spot on, which definitely helped to produce some super speedy times, with four of the six course records being shattered!

It was fantastic to see so many happy faces crossing the finish line. (Although I suspect some of those smiles were because the hills were finally behind you!)

A huge thank you to Billy from Mick Hall photos for capturing the day so brilliantly.  Race photos from the day can be found here: Mick Hall Photos

Keep Sunday, 18th July 2027 free in your diaries for next year’s event!
