Race Harborough was initially established in 2014, and then bought by myself, Mary Pearson, at the end of January 2023.

My priorities for the company are to deliver quality, friendly, inclusive and enjoyable events in beautiful surroundings, at fair prices, and with a minimal impact to the environment.

Having run nearly 300 parkruns, and having volunteered at even more, I am a familiar face to those within the local parkrun community, especially those who visit Irchester Country parkrun, where I am Co-Event Director of the event. I am also Vice Chair of Wellingborough & District AC, where I have been an active member since 2011, and so have found myself on multiple running adventures over the years, going from just two club runs a week, to taking on multiple ultra distances, and finishing my first 100 miler when my son was just one year old!

I will warmly welcome anybody who would like to get involved with RH.  I truly believe there is no community more supportive or caring than the running community – and by joining us as a volunteer or runner at one of our events you will be able to experience for yourself that runner’s high or warm glow of having helped somebody achieve their goal.
